Throughout my research of Schuylkill County this semester, I created an asset map documenting important places and organizations in the county. An asset map is a method of assessing a community’s resources through a web diagram or through a map. It helps to clearly demonstrate what the community provides for its citizens, as well as showing the skillsets/resources that could be lacking. Below, my map includes positive resources and organizations related to the county’s energy, transportation, agriculture, and natural resources including air, water, and others.
